Transience Of Earthly Love

laitman_564Question: Can our earthly love be an obstacle on the path of revealing the Creator and spirituality?

Answer: It is, indeed, an obstacle, but love in our world does not last long. Any kind of love, even the most passionate earthly love, disappears in two to three years. However, one can always balance it with his work in the group.

“Do Not Sow The Vineyard With Mixed Seeds”

laitman_763_1The Torah, Deuteronomy 22:09: You shall not sow your vineyard [together with] a mixed variety of species, lest the increase, even the seed that you sow and the yield of the vineyard [both] become forbidden.

The fact is that at any level (inanimate, vegetative, animate, and human), you cannot mix the right and left lines because the right line proceeds from the root of bestowal and the left line proceeds from the root of reception. There must be a screen created between them—a middle line where they must be clearly integrated.

Similarly, one cannot simultaneously plow on a cow and a bull, or weave canvases of mixed fibers of flax and wool, or to transgress the prohibition of marriage between the tribes of the Cohens, the Levites and Israel.

Therefore, it is written: “You shall not sow your vineyard [together with] a mixed variety of species. ” After all, grapes are the left line (reception) and wheat is the right line (bestowal), and they cannot be mixed.

That is why you cannot consume dairy and meat together or or for fabric to be kosher there cannot be a mixture of two different kinds of thread. The division into the right and left lines is necessary in order to integrate everything along the middle line.

Based on this law, kosher animals are identified. The first sign of an animal being appropriate for consumption is that it has split hooves. The second sign is gradual chewing of the food and regurgitation, meaning, a constantly circulating process of digestion.

Animals that display only one of the two characteristics are not considered kosher. For example, a pig, although a cloven-hoofed animal, is a non-ruminant animal whose food enters immediately into the stomach, and therefore, it is not suitable for consumption.

That is, all the properties are shown here according to which we make the selection of the corrected desires. And those desires that have not yet been corrected are at the level of the pig or other animals.

Spiritual work is quite simple. And from it, there are a lot of consequences in our world.

New Life 836 – The Attitude Of The Torah Toward Gentiles
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

The wisdom of Kabbalah relates to a person as a small world and talks about the interior of the person, which he must correct.

The desire that is called a “Jew” is someone who yearns for unity, for connection with the Creator, bringing everyone toward love.
