Understanding The Creator

laitman_231_04Question: You say that the Creator has one attribute, “to bring pleasure to the created beings.” The created being’s mission is to develop an internal Masach (screen) and to cease to receive pleasure in order to change his egoistic nature from a desire to receive to a desire to bestow, and thus resemble the Creator.

Doesn’t this lead to a conflict with the Creator? After all, the Creator wants to bring pleasure and the created being refuses to receive it and thereby prevents the Creator from fulfilling His desire.

Answer: We can only speak about the relations between the Creator and the created being from the framework of our mind and our reason, while the true mutual relations between a person and the Creator are attained only above our reason. By acquiring the attribute of bestowal, we become equivalent to the Creator and so we can understand Him and our nature.
