Marx’s Predictions Come True, Part 1

Laitman_200_02Humanity doesn’t understand what is happening to itself today, the flow it is in, and where it is heading. People in power also don’t understand what they are doing. Therefore, the wisdom of Kabbalah draws closer to people in order to explain the purpose and the program of our lives.

In fact, Karl Marx wrote about it 150 years ago. Baal HaSulam, in his article “Criticism of Marxism,” agrees with Marx on almost everything. Marx looks at the processes taking place at the level of human society, while Baal HaSulam, a Kabbalist, sees what is happening at a higher level. However, the level that Marx analyzes is included in the higher level, and at that level, the theory of Marxism has almost no mistakes.

Question: How can we dispute the main argument against Marx’s theory, which consists of the fact that its practical implementation ended in failure?

Answer: It is because the implementation of Marx’s theory was incorrect. We cannot draw conclusions based on Russia’s or other socialist countries’ experiences. Marx’s theory was never implemented. They just used his name as a cover, but it was very far from Marxism.

Baal HaSulam writes:

“I have to admit that the socialist idea, which consists of equal and fair distribution, seems to me the most proper. After all, our planet is rich enough to feed us all.

“So, why do we need this tragic war for survival that complicates our lives from generation to generation? Let’s distribute the work and its fruits equally and end all the troubles!”

There are several conditions that must be met here, and then perhaps it will be possible to move to a new principle of distribution. We see that the world slowly is shifting in this direction. The elite, gaining ever more wealth and power, are completely breaking away from the people. The middle class is breaking away from the elite, falling lower and lower, and getting poorer and poorer due to growing unemployment.

The causes are the development of new robotic technologies and the transfer of factories to countries with cheap labor. Apart from that, the desire to enjoy is developing in a person and demands other fulfillments above the simple, material level: food, sex, family, money, honor and knowledge.

Therefore, humanity is being drawn into depression and is searching for meaning in life. Human society is beginning to crumble, sprawling on all levels from the family to the entire country.

The process is continuing, and we don’t know if we have time to wait another 150 years, as in the time of Marx, or 100 years, as in the time of Baal HaSulam. Considering especially that there are problems in many previously developed countries of America and Europe, there is no time to wait! The so-called working class is left without jobs and no hope for the future, living only on the pittance that the elite feeds them in trying to calm them down. Indeed, nowadays, it costs nothing, and it is possible to supply billions of people with clothing and food with almost no effort.

Yet, no one knows what to do with this population that previously represented the middle class and now has dropped to the very bottom. These are millions and even billions of people. According to forecasts, 80% of all workers will lose their jobs in the next few years.

At the same time, restaurants and small businesses will close down because there will be no one to use them. People will care only about necessities, and therefore businesses will slow down and go bankrupt one after another.

This trend is already evident today according to statistics. Therefore, we need to describe the situation we’re in. After all, this no longer is happening in a single country as it did in the past, but the same process is happening worldwide.

Families and entire lives are falling apart, and problems on a national scale are brewing in every country, including problems with Muslim refugees. An entanglement of problems is tightening so much that the situation is becoming insecure and threatening.

International Day Of Solidarity With The Palestinians

laitman_600_02Comment: On November 29, 1947, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution to divide Palestine into two states, into an Arab and a Jewish state. Later, the 29th of November became the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. On the one hand, the UN declared that there are two states, and on the other hand, this is a solidarity day only with the Palestinian people.

My Comment: The UN constantly takes an anti-Semitic stand so it is not surprising at all. We simply have to understand how to act so that all its decisions will not have a negative impact. We have to carry out our mission regardless of what the nations of the world do in the form of the UN, UNESCO, and other international organizations.

If we performed our mission as a nation among the other nations of the world, we would have no enemies, everyone would support us and appreciate their relations with us and be thankful for the enormous good force that we would bring the world thanks to which the world exists. But we don’t do that.

Only the nation of Israel can bring the Creator closer to the world, so that His good force will begin to fill everything. Therefore, all the other nations of the world resent us, subconsciously they feel that we can do it, but we don’t.

Question: How can we feel the responsibility that we have?

Answer: We must believe what Kabbalists say and understand that they attained all the forces and systems that sustain our world. That is why they warn us.

Question: Can a modern person who doesn’t believe anything anymore suddenly start believing, just like that?

Answer: No, he has to study the wisdom of Kabbalah and thus be able to see that this system operates. After all, you can also deny Newton’s second law, if you declare that “you don’t believe!” But when a brick falls on your head instead of an apple, you realize that it has nothing to do with faith. This is the reason that people should become familiar with the wisdom of Kabbalah.

Existing In Two Worlds

laitman_423_02Question: If the reality we live in is uncomfortable and hopeless compared to the spiritual reality, which is sweet and wonderful, why do I hold on to this world in such a desperate painful way? Why is it so hard to break away from it?

Answer: We should not be detached from this world. We have to live in this world and at the same time begin to attain the upper world, the Creator. This will be a great addition and the union of the two worlds.

“Civilization In The Dark”

Laitman_417In the News (svoboda.org): “Everything is bad. The world is heading to hell. …sociologists, political scientists and futurologists…will explain to you that the end of times is near, if not already here. Everywhere hostile foreign migrant terrorists repeatedly arrange insidious attacks, here and there bloody and senseless wars break out, life has become more expensive, corrupt politicians only think about their own pocket, young people have lost their youthful drive, they do not want to study and work; they spend time on the stupid gossip in social networks, and catching some Pokemon. In short, the future of our civilization is covered with thick darkness. …

“The Western world and its immediate surroundings do not look happy and confident. …

“It seems that the story makes a great twist that many Europeans, Americans, Russian already felt, but mostly on some subconscious, not fully meaningful level. …

“It is also the fact that the old instruments of political, economic, military control, which the ‘big’ West used for its own limits for the realization of their interests – for good or for evil, is another question, – stop working. There are no new instruments, or they are not used. …

“British historian Niall Ferguson recently wrote as follows: ‘Today, the greatest threat to western civilization are no other civilizations but our own faintheartedness- and the historical ignorance that feeds it.’”

My Comment: We don’t learn from our mistakes. We have reached an unprecedented dead end so we cannot learn anything from history. This is the reason that the wisdom of Kabbalah is being revealed today. It teaches us the new way that will bring humanity to a new state.

The Letters As Models For Managing Our World

laitman_526Question: How were the letters of the alphabet created?

Answer: The letters of the alphabet came to us from Adam HaRishon (the First Man), he was the first who became similar (Domeh) to the Creator.

Adam was the first to discover the upper world and its results in our world. All things that exist in the spiritual world are the roots, and everything that exists in our world is a result descending from the spiritual world.

The two worlds are completely identical except that the upper world is a world of forces and our world is a world of matter. Even all the forces active on the surface of the Earth (electrical, magnetic, plasma, atomic, etc.) are also considered as part of the material world.

It was from these that Adam HaRishon discovered the roots of our world, meaning the upper world. He saw how the forces that manage our world descend from these roots according to particular rules. Adam understood the meaning of the upper management and its implementation. From this, he formulated these laws and described the structure of the letters.

Everything that exists is derived from a single black point, desire. From above to below, there are extensions from this point, which means that the Light of Hochma, the Light of life (the vertical line in the drawing), extends into our world from the upper world. Simultaneously, a horizontal force, the Light of Hassadim (Light of mercy) can also extend.

thelettersasmodelsformanagingourworld-pic1

The management of the world consists of three elements, one point and two lines, a horizontal line and a vertical line. In fact, everything is managed through an integration of these two opposing forces, like the integration of plus and minus. Adam felt these forces in the spiritual world and began to study and investigate them.

Because the upper world is composed of parts called Keter, Hochma, Bina, Zeir Anpin, and Malchut, Adam began to investigate the ways in which the upper world influences our world. He discovered that the spiritual world is divided into two parts. The upper part is called Galgalta ve Eynaim (the characteristics of bestowal) from which comes decision. The lower part is called AHP (the characteristics of reception) and the management is derived from there.

thelettersasmodelsformanagingourworld-pic2

Based upon his investigations, Adam described the structure of the letters. The first nine letters are found in the last part of Bina, the next nine letters are found in Zeir Anpin, and the last four letters are found in Malchut. There are a total of 22 letters, 22 standard models of management. There are another five final letters Mantsepach (MNTzPCh) for a total of 27 letters.

The Upper Light passes through each letter like through a mold and descends down in the form of that letter.

The Light resides above the letter like a single simple, amorphous, and homogeneous Light, a Light in which there is nothing special.

But when the Light moves through the mold of the letter, it acts in our world in a particular way because the interaction of the horizontal (Hassadim) and vertical (Hochma) lines in each letter is very unique. The letter “Dalet – ד” is very specific. It has a special tail, and the point where the two lines are connected to each other and form the axis around which revolves the letter. In general, the letters have many kinds of internal properties

Each letter is a separate Kli (vessel), which is a combination of the two forces, Hassadim and Hochma. Their vector is constantly changing.

Each letter is a specific stamp through which the upper force operates. The upper force passes through the mold and clears the way for its influence in our world in a particular way. A word is a collection of letters, similar to a computer command.

Question: Why does the drawing show only two lines if the control is in three lines? How is the third line reflected in the letters?

Answer: The fact is that the third line goes from the creation, from the bottom upward. And the drawing shows the management from the Creator, from the top downward.

In the letters, there is no expression of the man himself, but only the extent to which we allow it to write letters to our desire.

Question: Why is it said that the Torah was written with a single word?

Answer: Because the Torah is not divided into words, it is written as a continuous text. There is no way to divide it. It’s one simple command that runs from the beginning of creation, “In the beginning God created…” to the last word “Israel.”

New Life 444 – Hanukkah: The Maccabean War Against The Greeks

New Life 444 – Hanukkah: The Maccabean War Against The Greeks
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Yael Leshed-Harel

What does Hanukkah symbolize? What is the war that took place between the Maccabees and the Greeks and how is it related to the goal of the creation and to the role that the nation of Israel has to fulfill?

Hanukkah symbolizes a person’s first spiritual ascent.

The Greek’s domination is a shell, Klipa, an evil force that limits our consciousness so that we will not feel the Creator. The Greeks did not demand a change in our corporeal life; they wanted to control our spirit. The Greeks objected to our worship of our God according to which, through love of others, a person connects to the Creator.

The Maccabean war was an ideological war about the definition of who and what the upper force is. The main war was between the nation of Israel, between the Maccabees and the Hellenists. The nation of Israel exists only because it has a spiritual root. If we are not connected, there is no nation of Israel.

Yashar-El means that through the love and connection between us we reach a greater love, which is the upper force. We build a shelter by the love between us that will be able to absorb the upper force that is absolute love and bestowal.

Idolatry exists even today. We worship the “God of science,” for example.

Hanukkah symbolizes our return to our internal war, to connecting to others and to discovering the upper force between us.
