Torah, Deuteronomy 12:20: When the Lord, your God, expands your boundary, as He has spoken to you, and you say, “I will eat meat,” because your soul desires to eat meat, you may eat meat, according to every desire of your soul.
If a person comes to a state where he can receive the largest Upper Lights for the sake of bestowal [1]– meaning that he can receive enormous pleasures not for himself, but rather for passing them to others – then it becomes possible for him to do this. He receives power and help from the Creator [2].
This is the meaning of “when the Lord your God expands your boundary and you may eat meat” (receive the Upper Light) according to every desire of your soul.
