“You Shall Not Covet Your Neighbor’s Wife”

laitman_622_01Question: In one of the “Secrets of the Eternal Book” programs, you said that the meaning of the commandment “you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife” refers to not wanting the desire of another and not using it for your own sake. Did I understand it correctly?

Answer: You should always understand what your personal desire is, that it, like you, is ready so together with it you can create the correct new Partzuf, a spiritual body.

Question: Does this means that there are others who have their own desire to receive (their wife), and that I am forbidden to use another’s desire for my own sake?

Answer: According to the wisdom of Kabbalah the word “forbidden” means impossible.
