Torah, “Deuteronomy,” 7:24: And He will deliver their kings into your hand, and you will destroy their name from beneath the heavens; no man will be able to stand up before you, until you have destroyed them.
Kings are our most important desires. There is a set of 620 desires in a person and they all must be corrected. Each group of desires has its ten Sefirot [1], its qualities, and it is necessary to correct the main ones.
The correction is carried out not in the desires themselves, but in the intention [2]. Intention is the head of the group of qualities. Therefore, it must be corrected precisely because desires obediently follow intentions that a person creates. Intentions to receive for myself are evil and impure kings of the world.
