Answer: No. The hope that many had did not come true; the Russian-speaking population have not become the foundation for a new Israel, although the state’s ideologists who came to Israel at the end of the 19th century and even later were of Russian origin.

But 20th century Kabbalists believed that the Russian Jews would form the basis of a new Israeli society, which in turn, would be the basis for a new humanity. In other words, the way is open for the Russian Jews in this direction.
