Question: Is it working in bestowal if I worry about my close friends and about my neighbors? Does it bring me closer to the Creator?
Answer: No, it doesn’t bring you closer to the Creator [1]. It is simply corporeal concern for others. The Creator is revealed between the students of the wisdom of Kabbalah [2] when they focus themselves correctly to help each other ascend to the level of the Creator.
Question: When I have a chance to bestow, I am happy because my egoism is pleased to feel that it is great and meaningful. Is this using the ego correctly?
Answer: Yes. A person has to ascend and be glad about his ascent. Helping the friends ascend to the Creator is bestowal [3], while caring for each other on the level of our world doesn’t help in any way because in that case it is pure egoism.
Question: So why do we see that in our world?
Answer: In order to prepare people for the right connection between them, but nothing more than that.
