“The European Union At A Crossroads”

Laitman_419Opinion (vestifinance.ru): “Europe is at a crossroads, European leaders must radically change the political and economic landscape of the region or the continuing instability will provoke a ‘domino effect’ in which the number of countries who decide to leave the EU will increase substantially, according to a regular bank HSBC report.

“In the quarterly Bank report state of the European economy, prepared by analysts of HSBC Karen Ward and Fabio Balboni, it is noted that for the leaders of the European Union there are only two ways. They can continue to get out of the current economic situation, which gives a steady, but a slight increase and, will be perhaps fueled by the destabilization of the political sphere. Orthey may revise the current direction and consider changing and radically change the direction of life on the continent. …

“In fact, currently the economic approach that encourages unconventional stimulus measures in Europe, particularly in regard to quantitative easing conducted by the ECB dominates, which means that governments will ensure growth, but not enough to reassure the population that is not seeing direct benefits from this growth. …

“‘In fact, we expect that the EU will continue to try to get out of the current situation by extending QE and growing deficits. However, this process can not be sustained. We hope that instead Brexit will be a catalyst for positive change. The EU can use this for their own good. Trying to fight this decision will mean only one thing: after Britain other countries will follow.’”

My Comment: I want to believe that the departure of Britain will obligate the members of the European Union to study and weigh the matter. And the possibility even exists that they will also hear our voice, that of the Kabbalists….

Me And My Seven Billion Internal Desires

Laitman_115_04Torah, “Deuteronomy,” 5:25 – 5:28: And the Lord heard the sound of your words when you spoke to me, and the Lord said to me, “I have heard the sound of the words of this people that they have spoken to you; they have done well in all that they have spoken. Would that their hearts be like this, to fear Me and to keep all My commandments all the days, that it might be well with them and with their children forever! Go say to them, ‘Return to your tents.’ But as for you, stand here with Me, and I will speak to you all the commandments, the statutes, and the ordinances which you will teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess.”

Moses starts to line people up dividing them into tens, hundreds, thousands, etc. This is a proper distribution of the desires to their levels and their gradual correction in accordance with the depth of their egoism.

Desires in a person mean people and their individual personalities. This is what a person sees outside of him.

All those seven billion I see around me are my internal desires that I perceive as existing outside of me. Had I not seen them outside of myself, I wouldn’t feel them the way I do now. And when they seem to me to be living in this world, I immediately begin to feel that I confront them.

And then who am I? I am an uncorrected point in the heart. Therefore, I feel myself in a confrontation with them. I have to reach love toward each one of them despite the egoism dividing us.

In other words, my egoistic heart is in front of me in the form of external objects. Only when I’m ready to contain the entire outside world, can I say that I am corrected.

But we don’t need to correct ourselves. We don’t have any forces and predispositions for it. We must give it all to the care of the Upper Light and allow Him to do it! Therefore, the Kabbalistic method is intended for placing ourselves under the influence of the Upper Light.

And when a person begins to realize this, his life becomes easy. Therefore it is said, “To those who fear me, tremble before me, the Torah seems very simple.”

Why Do We Suffer? Part 4

laitman_527_03The real goal is to find out the source of sufferings, their function, and to learn to use them correctly for our benefit.

The source of sufferings is the basis of the entire creation. Sufferings are created by the Light of the upper force that wants to fill the creature, and therefore leads and develops it. We can develop only through suffering that eventually leads us to the question about the meaning of life.

A person must rise above material pleasures, such as food, sex, family, money, honor, and knowledge and understand that there is an absolute and eternal fulfillment. The same Light that created sufferings will now fill them.

It doesn’t matter what we are suffering from, any suffering is a lack of fulfillment. This is why drugs are used so widely today. There are so many desires, a person wants this and that, and something else. And if he takes a drug he wants nothing and he can soothe the pain.

However drugs soothe the suffering through disconnection of the mind, specific receptors in the brain. And the Upper Light, while filling a desire, increases it and makes me want more and more in order to reach absolute and eternal fulfillment.

I don’t cancel suffering, suffering and the Light work together. It is called fulfillment in the middle line when I make sure that the suffering remains. I don’t try just to fulfill and extinguish it in order to lose all desires.

I appreciate my suffering that gives me an opportunity to constantly fill it and enjoy, moving from suffering to fulfillment, as if satisfying my hunger like in the way we try to increase our appetite before a meal, we go for a walk, eat something spicy, or talk about food. After all, the correct use of suffering brings pleasure.

People are ready to pay a lot of money to restore their appetite for food and sex; they pay psychologists to support their desire for family and avoid divorce. All desires are for our benefit and we shouldn’t suppress them. Even pain is good, because it indicates disease and compels us to go to the doctor and start treatment.

Suffering performs a very important function, therefore we shouldn’t just remove it, but we need to use it correctly. This is what the wisdom of Kabbalah does.

“The Collapse Of The Union”

laitman_273_02In the News (Lenta.ru): “The exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union … became a sensation. Experts talk about the special relationship of Britain to Europe, the revolt of the people against the elites, and the impact of the migration crisis. But few people pay attention to something else: the collapse of the European Union in many respects is similar to the collapse of the Soviet Union. The fact of the matter is that both geopolitical entities were formed based on ideology. And the collapse resulted from a radical divergence between the proclaimed ideological objectives and reality.

“The Soviet ideology promised equality, justice, a higher level of economic development and living standards compared to the ‘world capitalism.’ In fact, Soviet citizens got shortages, unfair distribution, corrupt government, and a level of development and living standards greatly inferior to the West. …

“The ideology of ‘democracy’ promised Europeans the highest level of well-being and freedom for all, a world without borders, wars and conflicts, justice and equality in rights and democracy, that is, the decisive role of the people in political decision-making. But in reality, EU citizens have seen a huge income gap between the handful of the wealthiest entrepreneurs and the poorest segments of society, the influx of immigrants taking the jobs of the indigenous people, war in the name of democracy instead of peace, the solving of essential political issues by unelected Brussels bureaucrats instead of democracy.

My Comment: When folding uncorrected parts together, we get an even more uncorrected system. It is written that when the wicked gather together, it is bad for them and bad for the world, meaning that it is better not to gather.

And it is written that if altruistic Tzaddikim (righteous) gather, it is good for them and good for the world.
If first they had re-educated the egoistic-wicked into altruistic-righteous, everything that the masses dreamed of would have been realized, as it happened is a result of management by the bankers.

A Paradox Of Spiritual Attainment

laitman_525Question: If a person doesn’t feel the Creator and explores a world where there are no images, is it possible to say that by reading a book he can simply program himself and then begin to feel what is written in it?

Answer: We need to assemble and make a sensing and thinking organ for ourselves that will understand the new relationships that appear in us, and between us and can manage and change them. In a sense we do program ourselves.

Otherwise, what could be a reasonable approach for study?

Certainly I transform myself into some kind of system, but it is a system that I can manage! And so the infinite Light in which I am found and begin to perceive is upgraded within me and I can come in contact with it. Even though it is a wave, it becomes a quantum within me because it is upgraded even though it is infinite. This paradox happens here!

New Life #606 – US – Russia Relations
Dr. Michael Laitman in conversation with Oren Levi and Nitzah Mazoz

Summary

Every nation has its own character, and supplements it with what it absorbs from outside. In general, this addition is not comfortable. America was created by Anglo-Saxons and Germans, so it is not like Russia.

The Russian people are not very pragmatic, but pride is very important to them. They are ready for anything; the main thing is to be told that they are strong. In contrast, the Anglo-Saxon approach is the opposite. It is very pragmatic and they don’t care what is said about them, the main thing being that they are advancing further and further.

In addition, the American approach has changed greatly under the influence of the African-Americans, the Latinos, and the Muslims who have entered and become assimilated among them. In the future, America will weaken and will not continue to be a superpower. So don’t expect there to be a struggle between it and Russia.

We see that the world is changing; new technologies have eliminated the need for great weaponry, large industry, and so forth. In the future the world will break up into a lot of small nations and each nation will have its own character. The United States will also fall apart.

When we can print everything with three-dimensional printers, the transport of commodities between nations will drop dramatically. In spite of this, we will discover failures that we cannot live calmly with that will oblige us to correct our nature.

Like a couple quarreling over nonsense, peoples will want to kill each other. So we will reach a situation where the world will require education for a new connection; we will reach a worldwide law: through a special education we will have to learn to connect above all the differences.
