One Quality – Different Names

Torah, “Deuteronomy,” 1:34 – 1: 36: And the Lord heard the sound of your words, and He became angry and swore, saying, “If any of these men of this evil generation sees the good land, which I swore to give your forefathers, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh he will see it, and I will give him the land he trod upon, and to his children, because he has completely followed the Lord.”

Caleb is the only one of the spies who said, “Don’t believe the spies, I also was with them. We have to follow the Creator and we will get to this country.” He has the quality on the basis of which he understands that it is possible to correct an egoistic state.

Every person has this point called Caleb, one against all others.

Torah, “Deuteronomy,” 1:37: The Lord was also angry with me because of you, saying, “Neither will you go there.”

Question: What is Moses’s fault? He always follows the Creator [1].

Answer: The quality called Moses [2] can’t enter the land of Israel because it begins working differently.

The people followed Moses who brought them out of Egypt. And when they reached the Yam Suf –  Final Sea [3] (Red Sea) the only quality that acted in them was Nachshon, whom they followed after and jumped into the sea.

It means that one leader appears in a person each time, a single quality that goes forward and becomes a bridge from stage to stage. Thus Caleb is also a bridge that detaches from others and in spite of them enters a new degree.

On different degrees this quality helps a person detach from the ego, rise above himself, not by common sense, but only by breaking away from his common qualities, from the so-called “his people,” and get closer to the Creator.

And always he has a problem with his people, i.e., his qualities, to prefer the point called Moses (from the word “Limshoch,” which means to pull himself out of the egoism) over them.

Now he reaches the state when he doesn’t have a level called Moses in him anymore, and ahead is the next degree, called Yeshua, then Caleb, and so on.
