Question: Why do we need to descend in order to ascend higher over and over again?
Answer: It is because if it weren’t for the descent, we wouldn’t mobilize new desires, new empty volumes that we can fill by our next ascent and the revelation of the Creator [1].
This is the reason that the constantly alternating states of descent [2]-ascent, descent-ascent are necessary, and what is more, the depth of the descent is equal to the height of the ascent.
