Communism: Utopia Or Reality, Part 7

Comment: Many believe that the Scandinavian countries are socialist….

Answer: No, Scandinavia is a “primitive” society and from an egoistic aspect it is underdeveloped. Three or four small nations with deep folk roots live very separately; they are frozen in their inner development. So they agree that on the one hand, a king manages them, but on the other hand, there is some kind of equal rights since they feel as if they are a small family.

The Scandinavian nations have still not come out of the “cave” as in ancient society; they have not yet begun to feel within them the intense, egoistic forces that rip them to shreds. And so it is impossible to take them as an example, for this type of community can also be found in Africa where people have nothing at all; it makes no difference. In the Scandinavian nations there may be high culture, advanced science, Nobel prizes, everything possible, but we are talking about the inner development of a person. From this point of view, they are nations that are not sufficiently developed from an egoistic aspect.

I am not saying that this is bad. They can be beautifully developed economically and culturally, but there isn’t the same developed, stubborn human ego [1] in them that they need to realize that they are egoists. They still haven’t grown to this state. With time, the approach of humanity towards an exploration and creation of an integral society [2] will gradually influence them and with a leap forward they will break out and adhere to the others.
