With An Eternal And Temporary Inheritance

laitman_766_2The Torah, “Leviticus,” 25:31: But the houses in open cities, which do have a wall surrounding them, are to be considered as the field of the land. It may have redemption and shall leave [the purchaser’s possession], in the Jubilee.

Everything that is found outside the walls of the city (outside of the world of Atzilut) is not considered to belong to the city (is uncorrected), because in the world of Atzilut, above the Parsa (border), everything is found in wholeness.

But houses in open cities, which do not have a wall surrounding them, are to be considered as the field of the land. It may have redemption and shall leave [the purchaser’s possession] in the Jubilee.

But the houses in open cities, which do not have a wall surrounding them , are to be considered as the field of the land. These are our uncorrected desires that are for reception for oneself, and not in order to bestow and to love, so they are like a wind in a field.

But when they are in a city, then they must belong to their first and true owners. I can take them from him and pay for them in order to use these characteristics and give them back after that, and so on. This is talking about the flow of the right characteristics from one desire to another.

And, [regarding] the cities of the Levites, the houses of their inherited cities shall forever have a [right of] redemption for the Levites. (Leviticus 25:32).

A “Levite” is the state of a person who is found with the characteristic of bestowal (Bina). So no limitations apply to him: seven years, Jubilee, the annual loan, and so on.

When the city of a Levite is within me, this is not merely Malchut de Atzilut, but Malchut that has risen to Bina de Atzilut, meaning the characteristic of pure bestowal. It is possible to convey it and to do everything we want with it because this characteristic can be in all of the states.

And a field in the open areas of their cities cannot be sold, because it is their eternal inheritance. (Leviticus 25:34).

“And a field in the open areas of their cities” represents those characteristics (AHP) that the Levites must add to themselves. These desires must be corrected and filled with the Light of Hochma.

Only Levites (the characteristic of Bina) can combine them with themselves and continue to receive the Light of Hochma in them. So, “and a field in the open areas of their cities of the Levites” cannot be transferred to other owners. They must correct them by themselves.
