A person who keeps going forward without ever stopping, and who is not afraid to constantly be in the state of the minimal Light of Nefesh – in eternal clarifications, confusion, and fog, becomes continually smarter and attains his previous states. He becomes wise, but in relation to every current state he still won’t know anything. And that’s because we advance by faith above reason.

If he has just advanced by faith above reason, then he will receive a mind within which he will understand his previous states. That is how his mind will keep growing – only on this condition.

A person who advances above knowledge feels the Light of wisdom (Hochma) on all of his previous levels besides the last, current one.
