Focus On The Mutual Guarantee

Dr. Michael LaitmanQuestion: Why don’t we realize the mutual guarantee between us and then influence the whole world? What do we want from others?

Answer: It is correct; we have to experience this first. For example, it is written in the article “Love for the Creator and Love for the Created Beings“: To the extent in which the sons of Israel unite by keeping the Torah, to that extent they pass their power to the rest of the nations.

Therefore, we have devoted many years, our entire life to organize groups and supporters around the world. We must continue what we have started. On one hand, this brings us to the mutual guarantee, but on the other, dissemination should not be only internal but also external. One does not cancel the other.

And of course, our main focus is the inner work.

We Are Drawn Into A Whirlpool Of Recession

Dr. Michael LaitmanOpinion: (Andrey Kobyakov, Professor of Economics at Moscow State University and co-author of The Decline of the Dollar Empire and the End of Pax Americana with Mikhail Khazin, globoscope.ru): “This crisis is not going to be restricted, and already is not restricted to the financial sphere. Today, we possess a lot of figures and data indicating that it has seriously affected the real economy as well….

“Unlike the crises of overproduction, described by Karl Marx and other classical authors, the modern crisis emerges in 90% of the cases in the financial sphere, extending later to the real economy. Today, we live in an inverted economic reality. In the system analyzed and described by Marx, the real economy served as the basis of the socio-economic formation, while the financial sphere carried out the function of servicing it. But this design has subsequently changed….the financial excrescence has become self-sufficient….

“We are now facing a temptation to accelerate scientific research and industrial revival by military technologies as well. Some authors believe that military industrial corporations deliberately start wars in order to write off obsolete weaponry and get contracts for new technologies.”

My comment: Kabbalah doesn’t deny that a new world can emerge by means of a war. It does, however, send a warning that it will be impossible to localize a war since any war will escalate into a global one.

Kabbalists About Freedom Of Choice, Part 2

Dr. Michael LaitmanDear Friends, please ask questions about these passages from the great Kabbalists. The commentaries in brackets are mine.

Does a Person Have Freedom of Choice?

The meaning of their words, “Therefore, choose life” is that the Creator Himself puts one’s hand on the good fate by giving him a life of pleasure and contentment within the corporeal life that is filled with torment and pain, and devoid of any content. He flees there from this life, which is harder than death.

And one’s choice refers only to the strengthening of the path and the goal and the correction of the ego to bring contentment to the Creator, Lishma. Only in this manner is one endowed with a life of happiness and pleasantness.

However, before one comes to complete correction, there is certainly a choice to strengthen in the good way by all sorts of means and tactics until he completes the work of correction and will not fall under his burden midway.
-Baal HaSulam, “Introduction to The Study of the Ten Sefirot,” 4

All of the indecent qualities in our nature, the Creator engrained in us and created us with all the lowliness.
